As most of our family knows our little family is currently split. At the end of April, Dillon moved to Delaware for his summer job while Vincey and I are stuck in Utah until my teaching school year is over at the end of May.
I love my job. My high school students have been REALLY excited and genuinely interested in the subject material this year (Anatomy & Physiology) we just finished and sports injury unit and it has been a blast. Unfortunately with Dillon and the head of the sales teams this summer he had no choice but to leave a month before Vince and I could join him after Liahona graduation.
It has been a huge bummer being away from such a great friend, father and husband, but we are getting through it so far and hold out hope that it will have proven to have been worth it for our family by the end of the month.
As my mom and her new husband Brian want to Ireland the first half of May I decided to move Vince and I into her place to help looks after my siblings in their absence and to save a months rent. W loved our ward in south Orem and it was really hard to leave after 2 great years but move we did and 97% of our belongings are packed tightly away in a storage unit until August.

It has been harder than I had imagined to be apart from Dillon (especially for Vince) but it has already proven to be a great strength for our marriage. We have realized even more how much we appreciate and need each other and it seems everyday that passes it only gets harder but also better being apart.
While at my moms I have had a lot of fun dates with my brother PJ and Vince. The last 2-3 weeks Vince has become OBSESSED with PJ. He follows him around and always smiles and laughs at him. I've never seen him like this with anyone else before. We recently went to the aquarium and Vince literally ran from one exhibit to the next screaming and laughing the whole time.

With Dillon on the other side of the country, my mom on the other side of the Atlantic and me teaching during the day Vince has had to start Day-Care for the first time. I was really nervous about it but found a great woman who does it in her home for 4 other kids and after meeting with her a few times we decided it would be a good fit for the month of May.
Day care has taught me how much Vince LOVES other kids. Every morning when I drop him off he clings to my leg warily for about a minute before running into the arms of the 4 year old Maurice. Same at the Aquarium he love to give hugs and pat the backs of the other kids, and that instantly wins them over and they become fast friends and play and talk and run around. It has been good for him to learn sharing and to be tough and to be social.
